e Asa e seu exército os perseguiram até Gerar. Caíram tantos deles que o exército não conseguiu recuperar-se; foram destruídos perante o SENHOR e suas forças. E os homens de Judá saquearam muitos bens.

Asa e o povo que estava com ele os perseguiram até Gerar; e caíram tantos dos etíopes que já não havia neles resistência alguma; porque foram quebrantados diante do Senhor, e diante do seu exército. Os homens de Judá levaram dali mui grande despojo.

Asa and the people who were with him pursued them as far as Gerar, and the Ethiopians fell until none remained alive, for they were broken before the LORD and his army. The men of Judah carried away very much spoil.
