E eliminou os sacerdotes pagãos nomeados pelos reis de Judá para queimarem incenso nos altares idólatras das cidades de Judá e dos arredores de Jerusalém, aqueles que queimavam incenso a Baal, ao Sol e à Lua, às constelações e a todos os exércitos celestes.

Destituiu os sacerdotes idólatras que os reis de Judá haviam constituído para queimarem incenso sobre os altos nas cidades de Judá, e ao redor de Jerusalém, como também os que queimavam incenso a Baal, ao sol, � lua, aos planetas, e a todo o exército do céu.

And he deposed the priests whom the kings of Judah had ordained to make offerings in the high places at the cities of Judah and around Jerusalem; those also who burned incense to Baal, to the sun and the moon and the constellations and all the host of the heavens.
