Pois o coração deste povo se tornou insensível;de má vontade ouviram com os ouvidose fecharam os olhos.Se assim não fosse, poderiam ver com os olhos,ouvir com os ouvidos,entender com o coraçãoe converter-se, e eu os curaria’.a

Porque o coração deste povo se endureceu, e com os ouvidos ouviram tardamente, e fecharam os olhos; para que não vejam com os olhos, nem ouçam com os ouvidos, nem entendam com o coração nem se convertam e eu os cure.

For this people's heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed; lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.'
