Como sabem, esses montes estão do outro lado do Jordão, a oeste da estrada,a na direção do poente, perto dos carvalhos de Moré, no território dos cananeus que vivem na Arabá, próximos de Gilgal.

Are they not beyond the Jordan, west of the road, toward the going down of the sun, in the land of the Canaanites who live in the Arabah, opposite Gilgal, beside the oak of Moreh?
