Assim, ele os humilhou e os deixou passar fome. Mas depois os sustentou com maná, que nem vocês nem os seus antepassados conheciam, para mostrar a vocês que nem só de pão viverá o homem, mas de toda palavra que procede da boca do SENHOR.

Sim, ele te humilhou, e te deixou ter fome, e te sustentou com o maná, que nem tu nem teus pais conhecíeis; para te dar a entender que o homem não vive só de pão, mas de tudo o que sai da boca do Senhor, disso vive o homem.

And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.
