Então o rei Zedequias deu ordens para que Jeremias fosse colocado no pátio da guarda e que diariamente recebesse pão da rua dos padeiros, enquanto houvesse pão na cidade. Assim, Jeremias permaneceu no pátio da guarda.

Então ordenou o rei Zedequias que pusessem a Jeremias no átrio da guarda; e deram-lhe um bolo de pão cada dia, da rua dos padeiros, até que se gastou todo o pão da cidade. Assim ficou Jeremias no átrio da guarda.

Jeremiah 37:21
So King Zedekiah gave orders, and they committed Jeremiah to the court of the guard. And a loaf of bread was given him daily from the bakers' street, until all the bread of the city was gone. So Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.
