Dê-me, pois, a região montanhosa que naquela ocasião o SENHOR me prometeu. Na época, você ficou sabendo que os enaquins lá viviam com suas cidades grandes e fortificadas; mas, se o SENHOR estiver comigo, eu os expulsarei de lá, como ele prometeu”.

Agora, pois, dá-me este monte de que o Senhor falou naquele dia; porque tu ouviste, naquele dia, que estavam ali os anaquins, bem como cidades grandes e fortificadas. Porventura o Senhor será comigo para os expulsar, como ele disse.

So now give me this hill country of which the LORD spoke on that day, for you heard on that day how the Anakim were there, with great fortified cities. It may be that the LORD will be with me, and I shall drive them out just as the LORD said."
