Os cananeus de Gezer não foram expulsos, e até hoje vivem no meio do povo de Efraim, mas são sujeitos a trabalhos forçados.

E não expulsaram aos cananeus que habitavam em Gezer; mas os cananeus ficaram habitando no meio dos efraimitas até o dia de hoje, e tornaram-se servos, sujeitos ao trabalho forçado.

However, they did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer, so the Canaanites have lived in the midst of Ephraim to this day but have been made to do forced labor.
