Arão respondeu a Moisés: “Hoje eles ofereceram o seu sacrifício pelo pecado e o seu holocausto perante o SENHOR; mas e essas coisas que aconteceram comigo? Será que teria agradado ao SENHOR se eu tivesse comido a oferta pelo pecado hoje?”

Então disse Arão a Moisés: Eis que hoje ofereceram a sua oferta pelo pecado e o seu holocausto perante o Senhor, e tais coisas como essas me têm acontecido; se eu tivesse comido hoje a oferta pelo pecado, porventura teria sido isso coisa agradavel aos olhos do Senhor?

And Aaron said to Moses, "Behold, today they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD, and yet such things as these have happened to me! If I had eaten the sin offering today, would the LORD have approved?"
