Final Instructions and Benediction

We ask you, brothers, 1to respect those who labor among you and 2are over you in the Lord and admonish you,
13
and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. 3Be at peace among yourselves.
14
And we urge you, brothers, admonish 4the idle,a5encourage the fainthearted, 6help the weak, 7be patient with them all.
15
See that 8no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always 9seek to do good to one another and to everyone.

10Rejoice always,

11pray without ceasing,
18
12give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
19
13Do not quench the Spirit.
20
Do not despise 14prophecies,
21
but 15test everything; hold fast what is good.
22
Abstain from every form of evil.
23
Now may 16the God of peace himself 17sanctify you completely, and may your 18whole 19spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at 20the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

23Brothers, pray for us.

24Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss.

I put you under oath before the Lord to have 25this letter read to all the brothers.
