34
So Peter opened his mouth and said: "Truly I understand that 1God 2shows no partiality,
35
but 3in every nation anyone who fears him and 4does what is right is acceptable to him.
36
As for 5the word that he sent to Israel, 6preaching good news of 7peace through Jesus Christ (8he is Lord of all),

how 11God anointed Jesus of Nazareth 12with the Holy Spirit and with 13power. He went about doing good and healing all 14who were oppressed by the devil, 15for God was with him.
39
And 16we are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. 17They put him to death by hanging him on a tree,
40
but 18God raised him on 19the third day and made him to 20appear,
4121not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as 22witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
42
And 23he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify 24that he is the one appointed by God to be judge 25of the living and the dead.
4326To him 27all the prophets bear witness that 28everyone who believes in him receives 29forgiveness of sins 30through his name."
