Gideão e os cem homens que o acompanhavam chegaram aos postos avançados do acampamento pouco depois da meia-noite,a assim que foram trocadas as sentinelas. Então tocaram as suas trombetas e quebraram os jarros que tinham nas mãos;

Gideão, pois, e os cem homens que estavam com ele chegaram � extremidade do arraial, ao princípio da vigília do meio, havendo sido de pouco colocadas as guardas; então tocaram as trombetas e despedaçaram os cântaros que tinham nas mãos.

So Gideon and the hundred men who were with him came to the outskirts of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, when they had just set the watch. And they blew the trumpets and smashed the jars that were in their hands.
