Dito isso, Davi apanhou a lança e o jarro que estavam perto da cabeça de Saul, e eles foram embora. Ninguém os viu, ninguém percebeu nada e ninguém acordou. Estavam todos dormindo, pois um sono pesado vindo do SENHOR havia caído sobre eles.
