Então o rei Acaz deu estas ordens ao sacerdote Urias: “No altar grande, ofereça o holocausto da manhã e a oferta de cereal da tarde, o holocausto do rei e sua oferta de cereal, e o holocausto, a oferta de cereal e a oferta derramada de todo o povo. Espalhe sobre o altar todo o sangue dos holocaustos e dos sacrifícios. Mas utilizarei o altar de bronze para buscar orientação”.

E o rei Acaz ordenou a Urias, o sacerdote, dizendo: No grande altar queima o holocausto da manhã, como também a oferta de cereais da noite, o holocausto do rei e a sua oferta de cereais, o holocausto de todo o povo da terra, a sua oferta de cereais e as suas libações; e todo o sangue dos holocaustos, e todo o sangue dos sacrifícios espargirás nele; porém o altar de bronze ficará ao meu dispor para nele inquirir.

And King Ahaz commanded Uriah the priest, saying, "On the great altar burn 1the morning burnt offering and the evening grain offering and the king's burnt offering and his grain offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their grain offering and their drink offering. And throw on it all the blood of the burnt offering and all the blood of the sacrifice, but 2the bronze altar shall be for me to inquire by."
