O rei Zedequias, porém, mandou Jucal, filho de Selemias, e o sacerdote Sofonias, filho de Maaseias, ao profeta Jeremias com esta mensagem: “Ore ao SENHOR, ao nosso Deus, em nosso favor”.

King Zedekiah sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the priest, the son of Maaseiah, to Jeremiah the prophet, saying, "Please pray for us to the LORD our God."
