Jeremias 42:18
Assim diz o SENHOR dos Exércitos, Deus de Israel: ‘Como o meu furor foi derramado sobre os habitantes de Jerusalém, também a minha ira será derramada sobre vocês, quando forem para o Egito. Vocês serão objeto de maldição e de pavor, de desprezo e de afronta. Vocês jamais tornarão a ver este lugar’.

Pois assim diz o Senhor dos exércitos, Deus de Israel: Como se derramou a minha ira e a minha indignação sobre os habitantes de Jerusalém, assim se derramará a minha indignação sobre vós, quando entrardes no Egito. Sereis um espetáculo de execração, e de espanto, e de maldição, e de opróbrio; e não vereis mais este lugar.

"For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: As my anger and my wrath were poured out on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so my wrath will be poured out on you when you go to Egypt. You shall become an execration, a horror, a curse, and a taunt. You shall see this place no more.
