'Since the day that I brought My people Israel out of Egypt, I have chosen no city from any tribe of Israel in which to build a house, that My name might be there; but I chose David to be over My people Israel.'

Desde o dia em que eu tirei do Egito o meu povo Israel, não escolhi cidade alguma de todas as tribos de Israel para se edificar ali uma casa em que estivesse o meu nome; porém escolhi a Davi, para que presidisse sobre o meu povo Israel.

1 Kings 8:161'Since the day that I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel in which to build a house, 2that my name might be there. 3But I chose David to be over my people Israel.'
