So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper."

Pela manhã cedo se levantaram saíram ao deserto de Tecoa; ao saírem, Jeosafá pôs-se em pé e disse: Ouvi-me, ó Judá, e vós, moradores de Jerusalém. Crede no Senhor vosso Deus, e estareis seguros; crede nos seus profetas, e sereis bem sucedidos.

De madrugada partiram para o deserto de Tecoa. Quando estavam saindo, Josafá lhes disse: “Escutem-me, Judá e povo de Jerusalém! Tenham fé no SENHOR, o seu Deus, e vocês serão sustentados; tenham fé nos profetas do SENHOR, e terão a vitória”.
