Mas Josué tinha ordenado ao povo: “Não deem o brado de guerra, não levantem a voz, não digam palavra alguma, até o dia em que eu ordenar. Então vocês gritarão!”

Josué tinha dado ordem ao povo, dizendo: Não gritareis, nem fareis ouvir a vossa voz, nem sairá palavra alguma da vossa boca, até o dia em que eu vos disser: gritai! Então gritareis.

But Joshua commanded the people, "You shall not shout or make your voice heard, neither shall any word go out of your mouth, until the day I tell you to shout. Then you shall shout."
