Juízes 18:7 Então foram-se aqueles cinco homens, e chegando a Laís, viram o povo que havia nela, como vivia em segurança, conforme o costume dos sidônios, quieto e desprecavido; não havia naquela terra falta de coisa alguma; era um povo rico e, estando longe dos sidônios, não tinha relações com ninguém.

Judges 18:7 Then the five men departed and came to Laish and saw the people who were there, how they lived in security, after the manner of the Sidonians, quiet and unsuspecting, lacking nothing that is in the earth and possessing wealth, and how they were far from the Sidonians and had no dealings with anyone.

Judges 18:7 Then the five men departed, and came to Laish, and saw the people that were therein, how they dwelt careless, after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure; and there was no magistrate* in the land, that might put them to shame in any thing; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had no business with any man.
