O SENHOR disse a Moisés: “Ponha de volta a vara de Arão em frente da arca das tábuas da aliança, para ser guardada como uma advertência para os rebeldes. Isso porá fim à queixa deles contra mim, para que não morram”.

Então o Senhor disse a Moisés: Torna a pôr a vara de Arão perante o testemunho, para se guardar por sinal contra os filhos rebeldes; para que possas fazer acabar as suas murmuraçoes contra mim, a fim de que não morram.

And the LORD said to Moses, "Put back the staff of Aaron before the testimony, to be kept as a sign for the rebels, that you may make an end of their grumblings against me, lest they die."
