Sepultaram-no no túmulo que ele havia mandado cavar para si na Cidade de Davi. Deitaram-no num leito coberto de especiarias e de vários perfumes de fina mistura e fizeram uma imensa fogueira em sua honra.

E o sepultaram no sepulcro que tinha cavado para si na cidade de Davi, havendo-o deitado na cama, que se enchera de perfumes e de diversas especiarias preparadas segundo a arte dos perfumistas; e destas coisas fizeram-lhe uma grande queima.

They buried him in the tomb that he had cut for himself in the city of David. They laid him on a bier that had been filled with various kinds of spices prepared by the perfumer's art, and they made a very great fire in his honor.
