Porque certamente morreremos, e serereos como águas derramadas na terra, que não se podem ajuntar mais; Deus, todavia, não tira a vida, mas cogita meios para que não fique banido dele o seu desterrado.

We must all die; we are 1like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again. But God will not take away life, and he devises means 2so that the banished one will not remain an outcast.
